The only thing to consider when applying for an airlines reward credit card is whether or not the airline points you’ll be receiving are on airlines that you want to fly. If you only fly Southwest, it won’t do you much good to get an American Airlines reward card. Also, make sure the card don’t have obscene annual fees.
